In a unexpected crossover event that breaks conventional predictions, the game developer has revealed an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, including free additional story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Adventure Disclosed
According to the official statement, "A strange meeting draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where rumors of forbidden rituals and monstrous changes resonate through the shadows." The narrative presents a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a hidden group.
The questline concentrates on "bizarre trials and a monstrous foe" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Familiar Places and Changes
The teaser showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer ends with a striking moment showing a character, probably the captive, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Items and Bonus Content
Players who finish the adventure will acquire an exclusive katana alongside several items secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:

This patch also adds the game's latest no-cost story addition, titled "The Mystery."
